Dungeons and Dragons is a fantastic game, where we can explore different parts of our personality and challenge ourselves in new ways, all in a safe environment.  Many of the benefits have been an afterthought.  Through the events organized by the Dragon Ministries, we will intentionally explore:

As we tap into our imagination and roleplay different outcomes, can we take this energy and apply self reflection? Can we learn something about ourselves and have fun at the same time?

​Do a History check.

What is your mythic story?  As Joseph Cambell wrote, our modern stories are our myths.  Millions of people around the world are playing D&D and creating new personal myths that may influence their lives for years to come.  How does your mythic history influence your game play?  What is your character's background; what are their personality traits, Ideals, bonds and flaws?  Let's take the stories we tell about ourselves and adapt them to a character's heroic backstory.

Roll an Insight check.

​D&D players are familiar with Dungeon Masters bringing us to new worlds through imagination.  Journey inward to the landscape of your character's deity; what gifts do they give you for your journey?  Using your imagination you will journey to commune with your character's higher power.  Perhaps your character will gain Advantage on their next encounter. Perhaps you will receive a deeper insight into your experience.

Come explore, play and discover new tools for life's adventures in workshops offered by Dragon Ministries. Any work we do on ourselves not only benefits our own lives, but effects the lives of our family, our community and the world.  My intention in creating these workshops is to give people an opportunity to enhance their game play and self knowledge in a fun way all within the exciting framework of playing the most awesome role playing game, Dungeons and Dragons.
